I wasn’t a fan of the garish colours, large fonts and use of italics tbh. I’m also a bit confused as to why there are ad breaks with no adverts. I’ve seen before Amazon fill breaks (in TNF) with trailers for Prime Originals, so not sure why this wasn’t done on this occasion.
Really, Six Nations Rugby would have done well to just keep the Nations Cup graphics and just change “Cup 2020” to “Series 2021” in the logo. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the original plan (as TV rights centralisation seems to have been talked about long before Covid) but it changed at some point.
Will be interesting to see if these graphics turn up on C4's coverage of the Ireland games. I can kind of see what they're trying to do but they don't quite work for me - and I think the large blocks of dark grey don't help to sell them. Even just having the blocks of colour behind the team name and restricting the grey to the score part would lift them a bit IMO.
In other news, ITV have slightly altered their score bar. I first noticed it during the Community Shield, and it seems to have stuck.

Am I missing something here? Both of those scorebars have been in use for years...
The top is an unbranded/world feed one used for Soccer Aid. The bottom is the regular ITV Sport scorebar used on most of their football coverage.
Yes, the former is just a brand less version of the former.
I can see some furious broadcasters across Europe tonight, the usual pristine synchronisation of the UEFACL matches has gone awry without apparent reason too.
BBC is supposed to be broadcasting Alex Dowsett's Hour Record attempt on iPlayer, sports app, and red button. Buy it's not working, just showing the "coming up" animated slide. YouTube coverage working fine...
...and the moment I posted the BBC feed began working! About 15 minutes late.

What's happened?
After Half Time, for some inexplicable reason, no match had any prolonged added time at the end of the first half, Second half KO's varied by around seven minutes. I assume the usual linkage between each ground and the UEFA control centre went belly up.

And why would this make broadcasters furious, other than perhaps because they couldn't get their ad breaks closer to KO?
I didn't think the second halves were synced other than perhaps the final games within the same group.
