Up in the first innings, down in the second innings. The score on the right hand side does similar, with the target counting down in the second innings.
So they've made things as confusing as possible then.
I like the two side bars, perfectly understandable really, in the first innings they tell the viewer what's happening in the innings setting the target. In the second, that target is shown decreasing as the target score is (or isn't) being reached and the number of balls left to achieve it. Tonight the scoreboard was a lot less busy, and the supplementary info was shown less in the bottom of the screen box.
Watched Sky, whilst monitoring the BBC on iPad yesterday, reversed tonight. BBC seemed to have more fun, the use of the 'Tailenders' crew works well for technical explanations. Unlikely to watch now for a fortnight but will do again.

Personally can't quite see why Sky would actually want to bother with Bundesliga - they already have plenty of football to cover Friday nights, Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons so it would possibly be relegated away from SS Football to Action/Arena/Mix presumably. Also, withthe blackout probably returning there is reduced value in the contract anyway. On the other hand, Sky Germany are the main rights holder in Germany (and DAZN have the other rights....)
From what I can see, there is no deal for Serie A rights in the UK for this season yet either, wouldn't be surprised if BT would like that to complement Ligue 1 but who knows...
No broadcaster was announced ahead of the 2.Bundesliga opener last night so it seems the first weekend of action will go without a broadcaster in the UK. Three weeks until the 1.Bundesliga season starts...

Following the demise of eir Sport 2, FreeSports will be restored to the Sky EPG in Ireland on Tuesday - it was on before but unceremoniously booted off to make way for LaLigaTV.
The graphics on the Hundred are a bit garish for me but they're consistent and thought out. It's a very coherent pres package.
In addition, I was unsure what to make of this new format but I absolutely love it.
I have to say as someone who had absolutely no knowledge of the rules of cricket whatsoever I did find the graphics reasonably helpful and made what was going on a bit clearer when I gave The Hundred a watch the other day. And given that their aim is the attract new people to the game perhaps they graphics are doing their job in that regard.
Interesting occurrence during this evening's Hundred between Northern Superchargers and Welsh Fire, the director fired an Ad break early after miscounting the ball count. This resulting in a quick abort of the break after one advert which despite the hoo-hah was still sponsor tagged.
This weekend’s Formula E races seem to be live both on Channel 4 and the BBC (iPlayer and BBC Sport website). And I think I’m right in saying exactly the same coverage - presented by Vernon Kay with Jack Nicholls commentating? Any precedent for this?
Channel 4 using the Sky commentary with their own graphics (but Sky replay wipes) for the highlights of the first Lions tests tonight. No crowd so they have fake crowd noise too.

Looks like Channel 4 are covering Formula E for the first time but it has previously been on ITV, Channel 5 and BT Sport as well as the BBC and Eurosport. It was also live on Eurosport Player/Discovery+ but that had a different feed without the build-up presentation with commentary appearing around 10 minutes before race start (essentially a core world feed showing drivers etc. on the grid with driver profile graphics appearing frequently).

I think Channel 4 are only covering the two London races this year - at least that is my understanding.
Motorsport Broadcasting on twitter reported that the deal with Channel 4 was a one off for the 2 races only (not including qualifying or practice) so they would be on TV in the UK, BBC was busy with the Olympics on BBC One & the Hundred on BBC Two. Eurosport, Quest & Discovery were also booked up with the Olympics & World Superbikes. Worth mentioning BBC iplayer & BBC Sport still had the same coverage as Channel 4 live on their Website.
Motorsport Broadcasting also saying Formula E might be looking for an exclusive partner for next year to ensure everyone knows where to find it rather than the current situation of appearing everywhere and anywhere.

Yikes! Commonwealth Games one year away! Six multi-sport events in around 13 months with the Summer Olympics (now, BBC/Eurosport), Summer Paralympics (24 August, Channel 4), Winter Olympics (4 February, BBC/Eurosport), Winter Paralympics (4 March, Channel 4), Commonwealth Games (28 July, BBC) and the European Championships (11 August, presumably BBC/EBU). Sport fans will really be well served.
