That be quite controversial within Wales itself.
Another aspect of the changes Fifa are talking about is instead of four mid season international breaks to have one longer 2-4 week one each season - October being seen as the most likely month for it. How would Broadcasters like that.
I think both clubs and countries have quite liked having 3 games rather than 2 back to back so at the very least that would stay. Suspect they'd rather keep 2 or 3 windows so International football isn't off the agenda for 6 months at a time, probably October and March.
In all the years that Sky had exclusivity on England's autumn internationals, the other home nations were FTA and England were highlighted on FTA.
WIth CVC bundling, having the AI's on FTA was never really realistic, but to (apparently) drop FTA highlights especially when there's no mainstream TV coverage and it's online only - some aspects of this deal really don't smell nice.
Between that and the loss of Premiership FTA highlights - rugby really doesn't help itself sometimes.

Have they? All the national managers I saw quoted in the papers said they hated it because it was so relentless and they didn't have time to do any proper training, and all the club managers I saw hated it because all the players arrived back late and knackered.
Managers seem to hate footballers having to play football in general.
Switching sports and due to Global Citizen Live and I guess the Ryder Cup highlights being on BBC2 the NFL Show on Saturday gets a rare early evening outing at 5.15pm on BBC2.
The set used by ITV for their coverage of England Women looks so weird and out of proportion with the small desks and walls.

It does look a little odd, and lacking in separation from the rather busy background on that wide-shot. The studio is at Timeline's new Ealing Broadcast Centre, like the England men's game a few weeks ago.

That was the set used for the darts on itv4 last weekend for the Nordic Darts Masters only changed panels at the back for the England women
There's very little info here about what exactly this will be but I guess it's hardly a big event if it's on the Red Button on a Friday lunchtime.

Interesting. The
NBC press release only mentions Sky Sports once when saying that Paul McGinley and Laura Davies will appear in their Golf Central wraparound in addition to working on Sky's coverage. But NBC have got over 35 on-air personnel to cover three days of golf so makes sense that some of their team will appear on Sky as well.
After showing the Olympic ceremonies and Paralympics live earlier this summer, NBC are making another brave step into the unknown by showing
an hour of coverage on Sunday without ads!! They will also be having a leaderboard onscreen permanently throughout their coverage.

It's now got a 30-minute 3:15pm slot on BBC Two, without a thumbnail (but it's definitely still actually happening at 12:30pm). From what I've been able to glean, it's very much an LTA organised thing, so whether there will even be a BBC presenter or not, or any BBC Sport branding, or how much of the US Open footage they'll be able to show, who knows… The
LTA site says there will be "a live Q&A and a host of tennis activities" (i.e. it might be awful…)
They're right in the middle of launching their latest campaign for kids, so I suspect it'll be more a behind closed doors event pitched at that, than "here's Emma Raducanu on an open topped bus" etc.
