Can't say I'm surprised about Adam Hills hosting being a rugby guy...Just like what we see here in the States sometimes with corporate/network synergy, no brainer there despite some of/if any baggage he has hosting a show like The Last Leg, where they're not afraid to be controversial & speak their minds. Also good seeing Helen Skelton back at it with sport, at least she won't have to worry about getting flack for dressing up, like she did nearly 6 years ago in Rio for the Olympics considering it's Winter/Spring.

They've used both at different times, but more recently it's tended to be the US network commentary as that's what the regular viewers want to hear, albeit with plenty of cut aways to a (usually) clean version of the world feed to cover up any promo or sponsorship reads.

It was mostly the CBS feed last year - though I think they cut to the world feed (we probably have to say this again, it’s branded “NFL Network” but NFL Network do not show the Super Bowl) at certain points. This is an interesting Super Bowl for NBC, as it’s Michelle Tafoya’s last game for NBC, and almost certainly Al Michaels too (though that has yet to be confirmed), with Mike Tirico having been waiting in the wings for about four years now to take over.

Helen also has a link with a current Rugby League team - her husband Richie Myler plays for Leeds. As the first fixture is Leeds vs Warrington (Adam's team), I imagine they'll be playing their links up quite a lot on Saturday.

I wouldn’t imagine so. As presumably ITV 4 games are part of the main package, rather extra games being added at a later date. Also ITV 4 is no different to a game being on BT Sport surely?

Not on TV, but BBC Sport Website's live text coverage of tonight's Premier League matches is using a shade of teal for the score box and some text highlights (think ITV4 at launch) than their usual bright blue.'

It's the same on the SuperLeague rugby league live text page. Is this a Winter Olympics thing that's somehow gotten across to the other sections?

The Winter Olympics live page this morning is also using the same colour, but the Winter Olympics graphics are mainly navy blue rather than teal. The live programme in the iPlayer TV guide is also highlighted with the new teal so may be something new across the whole of BBC online.

If anyone wondered why Sky Sports-style graphics were appearing on the Aston Martin F1 launch yesterday even on other channels, it's because both it and the McLaren launch today are actually being produced by Sky as I understand it.
