Sticking with snooker, the BBC website says that Ian Hunt (once again) and (debutant) Catrin Heledd will present the BBC Wales/Red Button coverage of the Welsh Open coverage next week. Seema Jaswal was No.2 presenter last year so looks like she's left the BBC coverage completely. I make it six different presenters of the Welsh Open for BBC Wales in the last 12 years now!
2nd presenter, maybe Ray Stubbs or Matt Smith who haven't presented snooker in a while.
As for Jaswal I thought she had left BBC because she wasn't on the UK last year and never appeared at the Masters but then appeared at the end of the week on highlights shows and presented Friday live coverage so she might be involved. With the Worlds the BBC the last few years had morning and afternoon coverage on BBC Two and evening on BBC Four so needed 3 presenters, usually Radzi did morning, Hazel or Jason afternoon and Seema evening so she may still be involved this year.

Yes, between Open Air ending in 1990 and GMTV starting in 1993, Eamonn was a regular presenter on BBC Sport - in Genome you can see him presenting snooker, darts and tennis, and he used to do the sport on Breakfast News regularly as well.
Those Darts Titles were so 80s Esque I can’t believe they were still using it into the 90s.

Unfortunately TV Ark is down at the minute but BBC definently used that theme to the late 1990s, this clip from YouTube from 1997 shows it still in use.

The FIA need to be seen to do it next with pulling Formula 1 out of Russia and motorsport races like F2 races as well. It needs to be done quick if they want to make some tweaks to their race calendar.
Given yesterday (briefly) on the F1 website, the race details for Sochi were removed and replaced by Turkey - that suggests the direction that would take if the FIA/F1 removed all motorsport events out of Russia.
The Champions League final has moved to Paris and all games involving Ukrainian or Russian teams must be played outside those countries. No decision yet on the World Cup Play Offs in March (Ukraine are due to play in Scotland) but that may be FIFA's call rather than UEFA.
Not sure if there are any lower profile but more immediate international events scheduled for either country.
I'd expect Scotland to be awarded the win for that match - all football in Ukraine is suspended, so they'd probably be forced to forfeit.

They might well ask another team to replace Ukraine in qualifying. Finland the most likely as they were third behind Ukraine in their qualification group. Ditto Slovakia might well replace Russia.

Russia v Georgia in the Rugby Europe Championship was meant to be this weekend. That's been postponed.
In other Russia related Sports news, the FIA and Formula One have cancelled the Russian Grand Prix, which would have been held this September. It would have been the last Grand Prix held in the Sochi Autodrome before moving to Igora for 2023. Its not known yet if they will move it to another track in its place, or just have one less race this year.
