The halftime and live scores are now in teal rather than blue on the front page (though remain blue on the scores page and are a lighter teal on the individual match pages).

Think it co-incided with the Winter Olympics.

Quite surprised really a deal hasn't been done for highlights of England's games in the Womens Cricket World Cup. Sky did show last weekends game on Freeview really but given the mens tournament had full highlights on free to air TV it feels nowadays unacceptable for at least the England games and final from the tournament not getting coverage outside of Sky, although they did stream last weekends match on Youtube.
Sky Sports F1 have a new promo up showcasing the new cars. It shows another battle between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen out on the track along with their team principals from their team pit lanes.

RTÉ2 were using clips of pre-match interviews from Lee McKenzie on the BBC for the 6 Nations match of Wales vs France at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff tonight. The message to support the people of Ukraine at the match was displayed in both Welsh & French.
Assuming it's not a mistake, there is a rather unusual arrangement of presenting duties for the World Indoor Athletics next weekend on BBC2 and BBC3. Gabby Logan is listed in the programme descriptions as doing Friday morning and both Sunday programmes, with Jeanette Kwakye on Friday evening and both Saturday programmes. It's probably down to Gabby Logan presenting Six Nations on Saturday, but can't be that often during a three day event that the lead presenter goes to cover another event before returning at the end

Gabby mentioned tonight during promoting the week sport that she would be on Friday on the World Indoors, don't know why they cannot use Jason Mohammad like they have in the past on the Wales v Italy match and someone like Eilidh Barbour, Kelly Somers etc could cover Final Score.

Irish broadcasters (RTE/Virgin) usually take some of ITV/BBC/BT reports whether it is UEFA Champions League, European Qualifiers and 6 Nations. They usually only send their own for later stages or Irish matches.

Because even a dead rubber of Wales v Italy is a significantly higher profile event the World Indoor Athletics Championships.

The interviews are now pooled using Six Nations branding rather than the broadcasters mic flags.

P.S. I'm not sure if anyone broadcasts them (Eurosport perhaps) but Britain have today pulled out of this years Universiade Summer Games - to be held in China - citing the War in Ukraine and covid protocols as the reason as FISU are yet to suspend Russia and Belarus. Canada and New Zealand have withdrawn in recent days too.
Looking more and more like The Players’ Championship will go to at least Monday if not Tuesday with the rain delayed first round not yet having completed (ie, they are still playing Thursday’s golf on Saturday). Sky have rolled out their usual rebrand of Sky Sports Golf as Sky Sports The Players for the PGA Tour’s flagship event.
Isn't it much earlier than usual this year - thought it was usually in May.

Nope, it's been held in March since 2019, and was only held in May between 2007 and then. It was held in March before that - stretching back to 1977.
Storms have forced Sky Sports to relocate their on-site presentation at The Players to Telegenic T5's truck... not a setup designed to be seen on-air, really! Here's a look around from 2017 if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26aXVowtZD4 (vertical video warning)

RTE have full pitch side presentation at Twickenham for the England v Ireland game, a rarity for a match taking place outside Ireland even pre Covid.

Meanwhile, Soccer Saturday is now “Gillette Labs Soccer Saturday”. Not really a change of sponsor, and I assume it’s temporary, but unfamiliar nonetheless.

Think it is a first for RTE to have pitch side presentation at an away game in the 6 Nations, even previously when they had the Hook, Pope, O'Shea panel they might of had Ronan O'Gara or Shane Horgan pitchside at the away ground but never full presentation, RTE did pitch side presentation for their other Ireland game which was at home but Virgin have never did any pitch side presentation even for the Ireland home games.

That has to be one of the longest sponsorships in TV.
Hasn't it always been sponsored by Gillette - going back to the mid-1990s?
