Not a fan of the US getting to host before Ireland but hopefully the Australia/US combo is good news for keeping it FTA through the next rights cycle.
It had been suggested on a couple of forums and facebook groups, that BT Sport would not be showing the Australian V8 Supercars this year. Flicking through the channels right now, and in place of Badminton, which must've ended early, BTS2 is showing V8 Supercars highlights, from Barbigello Raceway, Perth WA!

I think the general feeling here is that, after the failure of the 2023 bid, Ireland are unlikely to ever be awarded it, or at least not in the medium term.

There's definitely been a few live races so far this season, and I think there's another coming up this weekend.
As expected BT Sport to make their coverage of UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League & UEFA Europa Conference League free to air including on YouTube.
In other news the Scottish contingent has got the UEFA Europa League Final with Rory Hamilton commentating instead of Ian Darke. Presented by Darrell Currie and the team including Ally McCoist, Kenny Miller and Owen Hargreaves, Alex Rae, Stephen Craigan, Rory Hamilton and Emma Dodds. As for the Champions League presented by Jake Humphrey and the team includes Rio Ferdinand, Peter Crouch, Michael Owen, Darren Fletcher, Steve McManaman, Glenn Hoddle and Des Kelly.

Reading between the lines, it'll be "as you were" regarding his BBC commitments (but obviously no midweeks where there's League Cup action).
Consider this similar to when BT enlisted Gary Lineker to anchor their Champions League coverage, which didn't conflict with his BBC work.
Josh Denzel a pretty decent host too. Seems he arrived there via Love Island, though prior to that did front content for SportBible.

He was also the FA’s host for England content on You Tube during the Euro’s and I think is expected to do the same in Qatar.
After the news last week on Final Score that Garth Crooks was making his final appearance it was announced at the end of today's Football Focus that Mark Lawrenson was making his final appearance on the BBC after 25 years.

Also Martin Tyler & Stewart Robson World Feed commentary on the 2012 FA Cup Final between Liverpool and Chelsea was shown on FA Cup Rewind on BBC One ahead of todays final, surprised BBC didn't add their radio commentary from the time like they have done with other finals covered by ITV from 2009-2014

No, both did their own, but there was an agreement that each broadcaster would make their pictures to the other if they were having problems. That happened during an England vs Scotland match in the seventies, ITV lost pictures for a bit so they used the Beeb's, and the Beeb deliberately didn't put any graphics on screen while they were doing that.
Think the Beeb were host broadcasters this year, certainly they had a director credited in the Big Long List of Credits. The timing couldn't have worked out better for the Beeb, the best since 2005 when they also had the Cup Final going to penalties (and it was Man U, alongside Liverpool the biggest draws) and Eurovision on the same day, plus imperial phase Doctor Who in between.
Also, more post match reaction from the FA Cup Final was provided on BBC2 between 8pm and 8:20pm.
