I'm guessing the new UEFA deal completely prohibits any clash of Europa League games with the Champions League games with games yesterday and today kicking off at 3.30pm, when previously they'd have probably been 5pm kick-offs at the earliest.
Yesterday's match change was at the insistence of the Police - Scottish and UK Government with the original fixture clashing with the Climate Conference. The Home and Away legs of the match were swapped. As a result, Rangers and Celtic were due to play on Thursday, once again intervention was necessary moving the match to Tuesday in the new reserved 1630 CET slot.
Today's match is switched because otherwise there'd be two matches in Moscow on the same day.

Their studio coverage is done in London at Gravity Media, so they’ve had some UK operations going for a few years now. But certainly a suprise nonetheless.
Paul Dempsey is their regular presenter and commentator, when he isn’t busy elsewhere.
One of the odder things they have coverage of is an Indonesian youth team Garuda Select that is based here in the UK. Mola follow them around all season with a documentary team, and put on a full 6-camera OB and studio for their matches.
I suppose they could air these youth games in the UK too - would give some nice airtime to the UK teams they play against.
Really basic version of the BBC graphics on today's rugby league match coverage. Lower thirds just apperar rather than animate. Some like the name graphics (longer than normal) are different to normal and I think the lower thirds might be using a different font too. I assume this is to do with the match being played in France.
BBC coverage presented from the second virtual studio in Salford, with a panoramic of presumably Perpignan. And for the first time I think, the team logos 'engraved' on the fake pillar behind Mark Chapman. Think commentary was alluded to being offtube too.

Yes I saw this. They were using the right font, but not using their usual graphics renderer (they were for studio stuff), and I'm fairly sure their usual is VizRT. Reith, and other fonts, can look different when played through a different renderer. The match graphics ran a video clip of the animation for the team sheets, then simply keyed on stills of the other graphics and the text was overlayed...anyone's guess what was used...could have been an Aston! Not sure what the broadcast agreement would have been, previous RL matches from France have taken French graphics, but maybe the BBC paid for their match graphics to come from the provider and that's what they got!

From a brief look around, I don't think there was any French TV coverage - none was advertised by France on their Twitter or website and beIN Sports' usual lead commentator or beIN Sports themselves hadn't tweeted anything either.
I only caught the tail end of the women's match beforehand and didn't notice if the graphics were the same. I did notice on that match though that the 5th tackle graphic was black text on red and was completely unreadable from my position relative to the screen(!)

The match graphics are clearly being added on-site rather than from Salford, as they keyed on/off with the replay wipe, so that would make sense.
Obviously you can't just put one broadcaster's package and another broadcaster's control system together and hope it works. Even if you both used the same renderer, the two systems still need to be made to work together (allowing one operator to control both outputs). Usually that's easier to modify the host graphics to look like the guest package, rather than trying to adapt a guest's package to work with the host control system.
So most likely the French host has crudely adapted their local graphics to look like the Beeb's. Animation aside, I doubt most would have noticed.

French broadcaster was l'Équipe I believe.... which judging by these football graphics would make sense why the rugby was so basic.

ITV's graphics have been consistently inconsistent for decades!
Most likely the new green ones are only meant for the FA Cup.

Yes quite obviously from every event they do, ITV Sport have a different brand. What the ITV Sport housestyle is, I don't know...they did have one for a time (from 2006), and it was still being used on some darts until quite recently, but I don't think they have one now.
I think most agree the 'England' package (needs/wants) a refresh! I'm not a huge fan of whoever they have to design their packages - they have a basic quality to them, especially the horse racing, and that glint that goes across the 'England' package lower thirds...hmmn.
