My mistake there. Interestingly on the Champions League draw impacting things - you'd think they could wait given they'd still have about 3 weeks notice. That said agree with you it is always a bit more interesting when you've got some of the bigger teams and bigger matches in the mix at 3pm.
With the Tour Championship bringing the 2020-21 PGA Tour season to a close this weekend the countdown must now be on to next years switch of the Tour’s U.K. and Ireland rights to Eurosport/Discovery. I know golf is a bit odd in being essentially a year round sport (a few weeks around Christmas notwithstanding) and obviously Sky’s rights don’t end now but do we know when they do end? Is it the end of the year or at some point during next year?

From what I have seen on social media and other forums it seems illegal streaming has surged this year which was always likely to happen after last season.
They’ll be happy with those three weeks of fixtures at any rate - Man Utd v Newcastle an exceptionally attractive game for the time slot to an ROI audience, even without the Ronaldo story.
Premier Sports got practically no value out of their 3pm rights last year while most games were on Sky/BT/BBC. They could still show whatever game was on at 3pm, but lost the ability to pick, and their exclusivity on the time slot as Sky or BT would also be showing the same game.(They did pick up a few extra games that were on Amazon last year but i don’t know if that really compensated)
Presentation wise, they no longer have a clean feed of games and are using the PLP graphics in game, though Premier’s own graphics still get an outing for the wrap around coverage which Eoin McDevitt is still hosting, though they have moved to the bigger former eir Sport set from the smaller studio they previously used.

Someone will provide more clarification, but I would think it'll be around this time next year, after the 2022 Tour Championship, the season ending competition.

Prime Video have only really sent Tim Henman and Karthi Gnanasegaram out to New York. Mark Petchey was already out there as part of Andy Murray's team and working for Tennis Channel recently; Jim Courier, Mary Joe Fernandez and Mary Carillo also work for American broadcasters with Carillo doing world feed commentary this week.
Pretty sure the BBC have a feed of the ambient sound into Salford anyway, Russell's commentary box is in the same place no matter which court he is commentating on. They seem to be doing a decent job but there is less coverage than there has been in the past, they are not covering night session matches on the radio so generally only doing two full matches per day.
The Solheim Cup is this weekend on Sky Sports and I think for the first time this side of lockdown 1 the commentary team is on-site.
The coverage is also being shown on YouTube with a PING sponsorship logo in the bottom right of the screen. I guess this is not shown on the linear coverage. It is only in the way of some minor graphics like the one below and the bottom line of the one introducing the commentators. Graphics wise, Sky are mainly using the NBC/Golf Channel graphics which I presume are on the world feed, but their own graphics are the standard Sky graphics but white with black text/highlights and then red and blue where relevant for the two teams.

BBC are showing highlights (0020 BBC Two tonight for Day One) which like anything that is hosted in the US at an awful time for viewers. I think today's highlights are repeated at 0800 tomorrow and then in the afternoon on Monday and Tuesday though. This may have been a last minute thing as strangely they weren't trailed during the Women's Open coverage a fortnight ago which I thought was strange at the time.
Soccer Aid commentary is a bit dull. You’d think Clive might get the gig considering there is two England matches close together and it’s not as if Clive is a stranger to ITV Entertainment viewers with his role as lead commentator on Ant vs Dec.
ITV have pushed Soccer Aid far more than the three England games they have this week.
