So far, GBNews has made even LocalTV look professional. Given that they are currently just going over to regional reporters and asking "Well, tell us what's happening where you are then?", maybe they should have bought in some news packages from the local channels.

Some video/audio technical problems with the guest who is presumably being interviewed via Skype.

The launch of GB News is to TV Live Forum, as the launch of Oneness was to TV Forum. 57 pages of comments in less than 24 hours!

I think GB News will be slow burner and improve given time. I'm sure they mentioned about installing a video wall in one of those pre-launch videos, so I'm not sure where this is. A lick of white paint, would also be a good choice.

Thought id tune in again to see the improvements they have made to the lighting, or atleast opening the camera Iris' up a bit. Nope, no change, Maybe I need to phone them up or be interviewed to let them know.

They've clearly not got the resources to do a full bulletin at the moment but radio style top of the hour bulletins would be a solution and generally can be done with a couple of soundbites and some library pictures rather than relying on reports - assuming you're signed up to the right news agencies of course.

I don't know why they're not clipping earlier interviews and replaying them on air to allow some time to switch between topics/guests. I think I've only seen one package go out and it was a few days old (Priti Patel interview on Breakfast).

They probably don't have a decent EVS machine or whatever replay machine the News networks use. No doubt if they do have one it wont be recording a clean feed so we'll end up with a mash of two graphics fighting each other.

I like the Simon and Alex duo. They are dealing with all the tech issues with humor..

From the bits I’ve seen they seem to be the best duo so far. To balance the ‘This is Fox News UK’ comments I made about Dan’s show in particular, a pretty good interview with one of the Grenfell survivors and not something you could imagine a programme on Fox News covering.
