Monty Panesar certainly looks a bit different from when I last saw him judging by that image.
Worth noting that Tom Harwood didn't cover all of the Great British Breakfast. Darren McCaffrey stepped in at 0850 and then presented Saturday Live, which as mentioned was nowhere as good as last week. Rosie's better at doing light.
Weekends are very poor on GB News at the moment. I have to say, and it pains me to say this, but here I go - the one programme on GB News which I feel has the most impact is .... Tonight Live with Dan Wootton.
After 2 weeks, I can see the attraction of this three hour block. For those who despise Dan, they watch just to be able to complain, and those who agree with Dan and like his stance enjoy it.
I feel this programme will soon become the success of the station, with all the rest struggling. I do not know if this is shown in the ratings, but I feel it is the one programme block which is attractive to viewers.
Has there been a day where Andrew Doyle has not been in the GB News studio?
Matt Hancock resigns, so what are GB News doing? Still showing a repeat of Dewbs & Co.
However at 1823, they've switched to the pre-launch trailer which makes me think they're going to go live shortly.
1825 - Lower thirds now showing Hancock has resigned, but with the pre-launch trailer.
Hmmm very
reactive... (I shouldn't be surprised)
A very messy coverup of the straps from the Dewbs and Co replay.
It seems misleading to have a breaking news banner if they're just playing a recorded show (where they are talking about something that absolutely isn't Hancock or health related)
They've got live coverage with Alastair Stewart on now.
This is the sort of major breaking story where GB News should try and prove itself... I don't have much faith.
Tuned in for the first time this week to see how they report the Matt Hancock story. Tuned in to hear varying audio levels and very dark live report from Harwood. Back to Sky News.
now got a "live" graphic but somehow lost the logo. I guess you can't have it all.

Surprised he is still around nearly 4 hours after his show ended. The trouble is breaking news on a rolling news channel relies on crossing to your reporters for updates - GB News haven't really got any.

Normally breaking news on a news channel means lots of filling and speculation and pointless lives. GB News is doing that at the moment, there's 4 people talking about it in the studio (I suspect they were all originally meant to be there talking about other things! ) and a young reporter reporting live from a street corner for absolutely no reason
