They seem to like to interview people from different presentation points within the same studio. They've taken the 'Superstar Panel' off the sofa and put them all in different places in a split screen.

A very CNN or MSNBC style. I watch a lot of CNN, and they do this down to the fact their guests are in different parts of the country and not just in the main studio.

I love how they pontificate about having news more relevant to the people of the UK than what the 'elite' serve up, then devote time to discuss a petition about an American TV show that virtually nobody in the will UK watch or care about...

I am a huge US talk show fan, I always have been, especially Johnny Carson's archive shows. The clip of Jimmy Kimmel with James Corden is so old. It from September 2016.

Or indeed the opinions of some nobody 'expert' on body language which felt like Big Brother circa 2002 when they still pretended to be a social experiment.

That's really what people of the UK care about and have been underserved with?

I'm sure CBS will be very happy the strap appears to be stuck on. It makes it seem like GB News is a CBS production.

Does seem odd for a channel that wants to be seen as the 'rebel' of TV news/covering the stories nobody else will cover and regions nobdy else covers to then have the presenter and guest talking about how well they know each other from a decade on Fleet Street/'the London bubble'.

DiNA is the editorial running order / script system.

Viz Mozart is running the automation and I think it’s all NDI. The monitor stack looks like it’s all Newtek TriCaster.

Which coincidentally is also from the Viz stable.

A penny for Lorraine Kelly's thoughts. Her show was quite responsible in making Dan Wootton a TV personality.

That part of set/studio where Dan Wooton's coming from looks like the Challenge Ant set from SMTV live. Just needs some CDs in the background.

That's where I remember him from. Gossiping about soap characters as if they were real people. I've not really followed his work since, but he's clearly got plenty of opinions!
