It's got to be embarrassing for all of the big(ish) names that signed up to this?
Edit: How long before P. Nurse, Ivor Hardy and that guy who always used to slug off his ex on the Wright Stuff all start getting in contact
How about Mr P Nesshead, Mr Y Fronts, G String, Mr B Oddy...

But there's no value in it. It's something that's been done to death on social media since it's infancy.
I don't think GB News is going to take its self that seriously. It's very free flowing. I do feel a lot of this thread is now nit picking for the sake of it.
Criticism of the channel is fine, but let's make it constructive.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with fluff features, but this strikes me as them struggling to think of ideals to fill the slot. It’s telling that there is no traditional Simon McCoy reaction to the story.

As the reporters are in the local area, they mentioned a few things that were happening in the town, but no video footage or witnesses. It would make sense to send them out to the scene of local events, get footage. Standing there just explaining it isn't great. Plus it would give them something to show and fill the time if that was the reason for the roll.
Sound is awful again. Skype contributor is way too loud, with Dewbs too quiet.

That's what I've been saying for the last couple of days. The hits need some VT to be injected (interview/B roll/colour) to give the stories some context. The 'I spoke to a guy in a pub and they said...' isn't really enough.
They're currently running a piece on 'do kids need toys', the equivalent of 'what's your favourite biscuit' on the radio.

I wonder if this will be a completely separate production, or the audio of the show.
Some US news channels make the audio of their Sunday shows available as podcasts - like
State of the Union from CNN.

Not to mention the mind numbing discussion with Michelle saying her child likes playing with bottles full of rice - yet the video clip they showed did not really reflect this. It was Michelle shaking the bottle by the feet of her little boy laying there doing nothing.
As for the commentator in the studio I don't feel she adds anything more that a random person dragged off the street would
As for the podcast don't get your hopes up. They will probably record the mic of a presenter having their lunch or something instead of the actual discussion taking place
and with that its time to switch off

I agree - the "I spoke to X" with no context VT does open the door for making stuff up IMO, it doesn't sit well with me. I do want to be clear - I'm
not accusing GBN of making stuff up.
Is Dewbs the only show to give out a different contact email? It’s been the GB View’s one all day.

You're all wrong - it's a 'bun' and that's final!
I don't want to get into any arguments but I've called them baps, bread rolls, bread buns, bread-cakes - lets just call it bread

Oh dear. I expect tomorrow we'll have 'How do you pronounce 'scone'?'.
What's your favourite biscuit?
