She says the "Co." in Dewbs & Co. in a standard English accent then two words later the same vowel in "show" in her Hull accent.
I don't want to have a go at her, it's just something I couldn't help noticing
She has admitted to putting on 'her telephone voice' when presenting on air. Frankly I think it makes her come across as void of any personality.
sadly The Void has been taken by ITV if Dewbs wants to rename her show

If only her telephone voice didn't include strangling her vowels. It's perfectly possible to use your native accent and use standard English with some elocution lessons, but what she's doing doesn't help either.

It looks from this photo that they did remove the bigger videowall which was brought on for the launch of Farage, as it looks they are now using the smaller Samsung Flip videowall which was installed in the studio for the launch.
Have they used the videowall as anything other than a backdrop though?
Couldn’t see this already mentioned, but a bit more detail on the relaunch in September on order order blog.

“In many ways September will be the real launch of GB News. There has been a complete overhaul. Treat the prior two months as a test run.”
Although Guido hears the ‘more newsroom-like’ replacement studio will take a while longer to be built…
Clearly they jumped the gun and didn’t have a clear idea of what the channel needed to be!
The above quotes about politics etc are probably more bad news for all those regional correspondents doing in-depth reporting of what they heard in a cafe. It was misguided of GB News’ original “vision” to suggest they shun Westminster village stuff, but glad to see they’ve come to their senses, as that’s exactly what’s needed during the daytime.

Sounds like they're relaunching before they're ready too.

Which begs the question: Did they do ANY audience research before launching apart for reading the 'Mail and 'Express?

Considering some of their on-air team clearly didn't have any presenter training either, I doubt the budget was there for focus groups.
Nobody would be surprised - and his more nostalgic look at working at the BBC earlier this week were very different in tone to how he'd been speaking about them in the six months prior.

An utterly ridiculous article given that in the very same piece we get this:
Quote: Neil is expected to return next month and GB News is poised for a relaunch to help bolster its ratings.
A spokesman for Neil says: “It is his intention to return to GB News in September.”
A GB News spokeswoman says: "As previously announced, we look forward to Andrew Neil’s return from holiday in September to host his 8pm show.
Classic silly summer season stuff.

Hmm quite possibly but when you actually look at the language used in both quotes it's relatively non-committal. Particularly Neil's "it is his intention to return". That usually has an unwritten "at the moment" parked at the end.
I would be surprised if A.N did not return, given he has put so much of himself into the channel.
BUT didn’t he do something similar when he worked with the launch of Sky News?
In addition he may just want to retire.
GBN is now running ads on YouTube. The first I have seen anyway.
I’m really not one to judge peoples accents. I think they’re a great thing that we as individuals can pride ourselves on no matter where you come from… but I do have a bone to pick with Michelle. I find it forced. Yes accents are noticeable but we can all speak properly without having to drag certain words out with a forced accent. There’s no need to an an extra 5 “o”s on to every word that ends in “o”. That’s just an example. I am from the north west so am used to hearing all sorts of different accents. I really do find Michelle’s irritating I have to say. You can speak properly and still have your accent. Just pronounce words the way they’re pronounced and speak properly. It’s just basics. Especially when fronting your own tv show across the country.
