The Farage set was used for today's edition of the The Great British Breakfast. I would have thought the soft area would be more suitable for weekend shows being more relaxed.
Are we expecting a big relaunch in September 2021? New sets, new music etc? They hire new presenters, and quickly place them into the schedules. Surely it would be better to launch Patrick Christys for example in the September relaunch, rather than hurling him straight into the schedules in the middle of August?

I genuinely don't think we're getting a full relaunch it's just be rolling changes which will be complete when Neil returns in September. When comparing the channel to what it was in June it will have been 'relaunched'.
From the Evening Standard article:
"Despite speculation that he has left, Neil will return to GB News ahead of party conference season, as the schedule and studio are given an overhaul. “That’s the plan as things stand at the moment, back at the beginning of September,” he told the Standard."
It also states the channel has funding for 3 years and is still courting Piers as it's 3rd key presenter after Neil and Farage.
Is Nana not starting her new weekend show till September then? She was on Breakfast today? Have I missed something..

Kevin Larkin.
The first hour of Alistair Stewart and Friends was from the soft area, with the rest of the show from the Farage set.
Rachel Sweeney has posted on social media that she's going to be covering for Alistair Stewart in what is becoming a regional reporters presenting shift.

Although I'm sure it's not related, but when I dipped into GBN the sound was waaay too loud compared with all the other channels on Freesat.
They are still struggling with the basics for something that's not so difficult with correct training.

Same on Virgin Media. It’s REALLY loud.
Otherwise, GB News really is a channel of two halves now. Largely unwatchable/dull in the daytime. More compelling and provocative in the evening.

But enough about you, how’s GB News?

And remember that very soon that audio will be broadcast on radio
Patrick Christys has started a day early covering for Alistair Stewart.

Is the radio station just going to be the audio from the tv channel?

That's what they said when it was announced. Thought they'll presumably have to replace the adverts
