A lot of their stuff just seems like it is off the shelf of the local B&Q.

Prime Minister, your campaign seems to have the momentum of a runaway freight train. Why are you so popular?

I mean, a least this is an actual Prime Minister this time rather than, y'know, a dodgy actor pretending to be one.
I've got to say, there's cheeky and then there's this. I've known colleagues who pull their hair out because they can't get comment back in time from an opposing position in relation to the statement of a County Councillor. Having a PM interviewed by two of his subordinates really does just smack of desperation all around.
The only reason I can imagine Downing St agreeing to this is the basis that the viewership is so small it won't be likely to stir up an issue.
Cheeky GB News!
Apologies, I've had a look for the link but can't find it but last night, I saw a new trailer for the channel that featured parts of Andrew Neil's interview with Rishi Sunak.
Big admirer of Mr Neil but can't imagine he'll be too happy with that!
Monthly reach figures for February have now been published by BARB. 2.603m up 9.2% on January's 2.408m. With the breakfast shows now appearing in the weekly top 15s and seemingly performing well, I expect another rise in March's figures.
TalkRadio's latest weekly reach figures from RAJAR are only 542k, so I'm not expecting good figures from TalkTV outside of their three hour primetime block to dent GB News.

I suspect the February rise is more to do with the war in Ukraine. There were figures around the time that GB News did have a little boost, but very minuscule compared to the rise for Sky News and BBC News Channel.

Not the most important point, but, unless there is a misprint there, I make that 8.1%.
I wouldn’t be surprised if GB News started offering news bulletins to radio stations as an other alternative Sky/IRN and Radio NewsHub. They probably wouldn’t get any big stations on board but if if they could get the brand on a lot of community and small digital stations it might be a useful exercise in terms of building the brand awareness. It’s something they could get their news readers to upload at 10 to the hour, so possibly wouldn’t cost them much.

It couldn't be any worse than RadioNewsHub.

I dunno, the acoustics aren't much better!

I can't see that happening. Sky/IRN and Radio News Hub both have their markets. Sky/IRN works well for stations which have locally-produced bulletins and just want soundbites and a basic sustaining service. Radio News Hub works well for newer stations with smaller budgets and those looking for more flexibility in where their bulletins.
There has typically only ever been two options in that markets anyway:
ITN Radio News (1990-1991) - Later took over IRN contract
Network News from Chiltern Radio (1991-1996) - Closed down after buyout
Reuters Radio News (1994-1996) - Closed down following changes at LBC
Metro Networks (1996-2002) - Closed down after some subscribers decided to take production in-house
Sky News Radio (1999-2009) - Closed down when they won IRN contract
Weirdly uncomfortable to watch Dominic Frisby on tonight’s Headliners- seems to be strangely angry throughout towards panellist Simon Fanshawe; there’s a visceral loathing between them
They had a reasonably high profile guest on Tonight with Dan Wootton, former Health Secretary Matt Hancock.

With the vast majority of stations in the hands of "The Big Two" the Sky/IRN bulletins don't get aired much anywhere now. Global do their own offpeak news via LBC, meanwhile Bauer generally take the pre-recorded bulletin rather than the live satellite one (I assume to provide more flexibility during periods of automation.)
