No no no, Philip and Holly are the brand.
I’m honestly amazed that Eamonn Holmes is willing to go back to a morning slot - the pay must be seriously good to get up at half 4 in the morning for the benefit of a couple of thousand viewers, to a much smaller audience than you were broadcasting to 10 or even 20 years ago. Maybe he sees it as a last roll of the dice, do it for a year and pocket the cash, as it certainly doesn’t seem like a long term arrangement.

The breakfast slot is hugely competitive and very difficult to do well in - just ask ITV and Sky - so it baffles me that the GB News bosses think they have a hope in hell of building a solid, profitable audience there.

Can’t help but agree on the bland ‘Breakfast’ name as well - if you are going to spend money on bringing in well-known talent, then waste them in a poorly watched slot, at least build the show around the expensive talent. ‘Breakfast with Eamonn’ or ‘Eamonn’s Great British Breakfast’ would have done - unless they are worried about him doing an Andrew Neil…?

I think the last bit is exactly it. Once bitten, twice shy as the saying goes.
At 10pm, Nana Akua showed a clip of the first Great British Breakfast with Kirsty Gallacher, Darren McCaffery and herself. None of them no longer present Breakfast and the name of the show goes into obscurity after Monday's edition.
Indeed come the New Year is it only Dan Wootton in the same slot as when they started?

Indeed I think only him, Dewberry and Mercy are in the slots they started with (and even then he's lost the 11pm hour, Mercy doesn't do 9-10am anymore and Dewberry lost the 7pm hour).
Doesn't say a lot that they're only 6 months in and onto their 3rd Breakfast line-up and third programme at 8pm

Not the same exact slot but the same show (albeit with a different name) and at a similar time. As has been said Michelle Dewberry also retains a similar slot to launch as does Mercy Muroki.

On weekends The Political Correction and Neil Oliver Live have gone unchanged in terms of slot, but that’s about it I think.
Is this going to be a similar format to Good Morning Britain. 30mins of News then Breakfast?

According to my EPG, Bank Holiday Monday is back to the normal schedule with the likes of Dewberry and Wootton back.

The Sky Go app still has Eamonn starting on Tuesday. The title is "Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel", but the description says "Wake up to Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster as they bring you The Great British Breakfast".

As the radio station was launching on the same day, will that now move to Monday?

No - Eamonn Tweeted the other day that him and Isabel would start on Monday with what I’m assuming is a soft launch, he mentioned testing out the format etc. Same looks like the case with the new Brazier slot. I believe that radio station launches on Tuesday as announced
So they have hour long shows with different hosts from 12-4pm and 6-9pm, and again at 11pm, plus the Tom Harwood edition of the briefing in the morning. Really don't get how that will be sustainable. Indeed with double headed shows for breakfast, in the morning and for the paper review over 18 hours they're using 16 presenters, plus any newsreaders.

That is surely even more than the BBC used back in the days when News 24 was double headed all day - indeed I think it's more than in the days when Sky News had triple headed shows.
Paul Hawkins is brilliant on GB News.

One higher, according to my count.
