I’m not sure either of these things have been mentioned. But GBN now has a proper audio studio with branded mic covers for their podcast. Although it’s difficult to know whether they’re actually using those mics for the recording of if they’re just for show considering the two clips I’ve seen in there have shown presenters still wearing lapel mics.
The other thing is, not sure if it was mentioned but Mark Steyn presented his show from a random bar in Western Ukraine earlier this week. Which led to some rather awkward interaction with their Russian speaking host. I think that’s probably the closest he’s been to Britain whilst presenting his show.

That would be a questionable reason for her departure given the type of output the channel was going to have was well known prior to launch. It was always a strange fit to me given that I don't recall any other core news channel work she did. It may be that it just didn't work out. I don't think she was suited to core news personally.

I certainly hope this is a weekly thing and not nightly. GB News is supposed to be a news channel, not an entertainment channel.

I'm reminded of the incredibly unfunny 1/2 Hour News Hour that ran on Fox News Channel for just 17 episodes back in 2007. I wonder if this will fall just as flat.

If they're meant to be a news channel, they've certainly not been showing it so far.
I'm not going to criticise GB News just because they're trying something new. However, I don't know what they're hoping to achieve with this show.
1: There are a lot of places where I'd look for comedy, but GB News isn't one of them. I think there will have to be a decent advertising push, just to make people aware of the show's existence.
2: I'm not sure the format will really work. I'm not going to completely jump the gun, but oftentimes, a panel shows scoring system gets completely ignored and you can often forget that it's even a competition. But based on the info we have now, it sounds like it's going to be a lot more competitive, and I'm not sure it'll work that well. I could be wrong on this, but that's just my initial view.
3: How are they going to convince any widely known comedians to appear on the show? I knew of Steve N. Allen from The Mash Report, but I had to search for the other two. I understand why they don't have big names as the team captains (given the channel's size and budget), but I think they'll be in for a challenge in their search of panellists if they're being forced onto a certain side.
There is obviously a chance that I'm completely wrong and the show does alright on the channel, but I certainly have some qualms about the concept as it stands.

It’s not really a huge leap from Headliners or Free Speech Nation at all really. Sounds like a slightly improved version of the panel quizzes they do on talkRADIO TV
This is all about stoking culture wars rather than a lighter take on the weeks news. It's more anti-woke nonsense dressed up this time as "comedy" rather than "free speech".
