Seeing as she is one of the 2019 new Tory MP intake, relatively unknown and has suddenly had a negative article appear about her in the press would seem to suggest that she's one of the MPs being threatened.

The autocue wasn't working for the 22:00 news update. Polly Middlehurst managed to get through using a paper script with fewer mistakes or pauses than some of those at the more established channels manage when everything is working properly.

There was something very Martine Croxall about how she handled that.
Just seen two adverts for gold companies in a row on GB News. The latter was yet another company with three stores in South Wales. I’m not sure what the explanation for so many of the relatively small scale businesses in South Wales seemingly wanting to advertise in GB News is.
Isn't Farage a big proponent of buying gold, so not too surprising they thing there is an audience on the channel.

Car dealers, telecoms companies, carpet shops, there’s been loads. All in South Wales. It’s odd.
Sky must have a really good sales person in South Wales who has tapped into the Brexit voting local businesses. A far cry from the national advertisers who didn't realise they had purchased slots on GB News last summer.

she came across as a professional, knew her script and story so was able to deliver news in a proper way, not like most who have no idea of their scripts or story they are reading and make a right mess of things if nothing is scrolling in front of them.
its just like the american reporter who got run over by car and continued without making a fuss, but elsewhere others would be complaining and demand they go back to studio presenters.
a professional continues not make a mountain out of a molehill
I think getting run over is a perfectly valid excuse to cross back to the studio.

Polly Middlehurst is a real star of GB News and adds actual gravitas to the bulletins that is all too often missing on other channels these days. She also adds personality to the proceedings.
She was always one of my favourte newsreaders when she was on Sky. I quite like GB News anyway but even if I didn't, it'd be worth tuning in just for Polly!
I dunno where in Westminster Darren McCaffrey was coming from today but it's not a studio I have seen GB News use.
