Is that a bit of purple screen "burn" behind the weatherman's head there just now?
Ouch! That must've stung a little bit! :o

Looks like a reflection from the other side of the studio to me.
BBC News at 9 Technical Issues! https://youtu.be/iYCimhtD05c
Well, it looks like BBC London and South East is back again. This time, it’s from Broadcasting House in London then Tunbridge Wells! Big Grin
Was BBC London and south east at lunchtime?

No it wasn't, just at breakfast. Sounds more like technical problems than any grand plan.
Been Wondering, Why are BBC News using a Pre Recorded Trundle every friday at 5?

Because they use studio A instead of E.
Stuart Pollit doing reports for BBC Sport tonight. He left BBCNWT a few months ago and his Twitter still says Ex BBC. Just the odd freelance work?
Looks like Andrew Marr has moved into 54D(?).

Sofa set used for the newspaper review and the desk, with the traditional Marr background, for the interviews. This really shows the flexibility of the studio's the BBC have in London in programmes having continuity of look whichever studio they use.

Two changes that I don't recall seeing before. Down the line interviews on Marr now seem to have a location bug top left corner. A slim red line with main background being orange with white text. Also the Marr DOG bottom right hand corner now appears to be orange. I thought previously it had been white/semi translucent.

Yep. A few presentation changes this morning to go with the move into 54D. I think the programme looks better from its new home, especially the beginning section from the sofa.

As predicted.

It looks much better than in E, and it seems someone has made another visit to the 'stretchy sofa cover' shop. Big Grin
