In the "NBH TV News Studios" thread it is claimed that Studio B is being refitted and will be home to the 1, 6 and 10 next spring.
Woah!

Don't suppose you could upload the photos on here for those of us who don't use Instagram. Would be much appreciated.

The weather bulletin on the News at Six was presented from within Studio E for the first time since the pandemic began (Sophie acknowledging "its good to have you back", in reference to this). Looks like they're trying to get back to some normality with some bulletins, where possible.

Was wondering only the other day when weather would return to E on the nationals.

Good to see Marc Cieslak getting upped from Click. I've always thought he was already one for the main BBC News team but at least its good to see it made official.

Is he leaving Newsbeat? I can’t think of the last time I saw a major news story about gaming that would warrant a full-time reporter role.
Yes he’s tweeted he’s leaving Newsbeat

And to be honest most of them will probably leave in due course because aren’t they moving it to Birmingham?

So the BBC have axed a full time role reporting on Olympic and Paralympic Sport but launched a full time reporter role for gaming, something which although increasing important rarely warrants significant coverage within BBC News.

I guess he won't do it full time per se. He was covering quite often on BBC Radio Wales over the summer on the daily phone-in so will probably become a regular option for cover like that often I'd imagine.
He states on Twitter it is a full time role, but he will continue "helping out" on X-Ray and Radio Wales. That's pretty much the norm - most "full time" BBC roles allow people to do other things within the BBC.
Nice to See that the News at Six has brought the Weather back in Good O'l E! [Image: unknown.png]
News Channel coming from Studio D this morning.
The newsroom backdrop in D looks much nicer than C's. Far less awkward.
