True, I think the recorded version was only ever used for news at 5? But then you would think they would have one for situations like this where the trundle cam actually breaks. Is this the first time it’s been broken for this amount of time?

Pretty sure you're right. AIUI, the recorded shots used on the 5 and when the News Channel used to come from C pre-Covid were recorded before the News channel moved into studio E in 2013.
Do we know if the trundle cam is actually broken and there's not works happening in a part of the newsroom?

I think they were re-recorded. They initially included at least three of the BBC News directors but when one of them left they changed them and the other two remained. Others may also have been included who I just don't know.

It’s not the World graphics, the World version globe is much lighter than the domestic one.
The BOTH is usually used before The Papers.
The trundle cam is back at 1330 but it looks like a section of the big round light fixture on the roof of the newsroom(apologies don’t know the proper name of it) is out.
Do they no longer simulcast the 1000 hour with World?

Trundle cam is still out of action. The George Alagiah is the only version I’ve seen since last week.

1330 on Monday was the only live trundle cam scene in the past few days. Then they returned to pre-recorded one at the TOTH and the globe sting at the BOTH.
