I am trying to avoid rota discussion but it seems to be a significant change. Does this mean Victoria has moved to afternoon?

Also, the 9am newscast has been renamed BBC News at 9 instead of BBC News according to the EPG, and is no longer available on iPlayer starting Monday. But I don’t know if they used the numbered intro.

Some of the BBC One regions, given that they have no pre-recorded announcement yet for Victoria, seem to have had no-one available to do a live(?) announcement but had the national presenter doing the continuity. Therefore, no mention of the North West regional presenter, for example, before the start of the BBC News at One. (National continuity but graphic "BBC One North West" appeared on screen.)

The 9am news has been called BBC News at Nine for some time. The numbered intro (which IIRC was used for the evening version of the programme years ago when that ran) isn't used for the morning programme, which started a while ago after Annita announced it on Twitter. It has been available on I-Player as a legacy of it continuing to be simulcast on BBC Two. Thanks for the heads up on it no longer being kept for 24 hours on the I-Player, so I know I will now have to get up earlier if I want to see the programme. Dropping the I-Player, which seems to have happened already, brings it into line with the 11am news (what used to be Newsroom Live).
Previously the 9am cast was list ‘BBC News: BBC News at 9’ on iPlayer, but on the EPG it was simply named ‘BBC News’ since Covid. Starts on Monday it has been called ‘BBC News at 9’ on both platforms again, same as the pre-Covid era.

Probably just one off or trial, she was on at 9:00 yesterday

Actually might have been a story on Instagram, can't remember exactly but she did say something like, 'shadowing news at one which I'll be presenting for the first time in few weeks'

To be honest I'm surprised the regional announcements and headline opts didn't become a casualty of the scaling back during the first lockdown.

P.S. Did VD stay on for the afternoon shift on the news channel?
It was her first time ever doing the news at one. It was nice to see her back on BBC one since news at 9 simulcast was removed.

There’s been some weird scheduling going on recently. Lukwesa Burak done what used to be newsroom live yesterday which I believe would’ve also been a first?

Pretty sure Lukwesa's done the 11:00-13:00 slot before but only a handful of times

Need to remember it is the Easter holidays in England right now so that always throws a spanner into the works for presenters

Fantastic for her and so well deserved. I did note she wasn't permitted her laptop on the 1. Smile
This might be a glimpse of branded programs like Afternoon Live Newsroom Live Worklife and possibly staying at its new 9pm slot Beyond 100 Days The Briefing And Business Briefing Returning. Outside Source might use the Touchscreen Again but the 10am slot might be staying simulcast and Maybe rebranding to Live With Lucy Hockings.

Or they might drop Outside Source replace with Global at 5pm to save opening another studio, but it depends on Briefings, wonder if the OS slot on Friday will become an edition of World News Today if they don't drop the 7pm simulcast.
Does anyone know why the 10:00-13:00 slot has GMT in the description? Doesn’t seem to make sense as we’re not even in GMT anymore. It only started appearing last Wednesday.

I spotted the description too but I thought it was from last year (yeah I did not check last week’s schedule)…
Is this a nod to the former BBC World programme GMT? I even forgot the show had become Live with Lucy Hockings…

That's how it's normally listed on BBC World News, probably due to a bug in simulcast schedules, they all have GMT on end.

We had the same in the East Mids. Obviously unexpected that Victoria was presenting, we just had new introductions recorded in recent weeks, but obviously Victoria wasn't included in the recording session
Surprised they haven't done a generic one along the lines of "Now on BBC1, the BBC News at One followed by East Midlands Today with ..."
