I don’t think it does. The giveaway is the Madonna mic and I’ve not seen a weather presenter wearing one of them in years.

I did catch a glimpse of the screens still stuck on the wall while watching the NC last week and they were still displaying BBC weather. Not seen anything beyond that since the Covid changes kicked in.
Interested by the straps regarding the By-Election.
Just gone from standard strap to a 'breaking' strap for some reason. I don't think something that happened 7 hours ago can really be described as "breaking news".

The last time I saw it used on screen was for some local election inserts in May.

They've employed the text producer from GB News maybe?
Well, now the flipper is describing it as 'Breaking', but the strap isn't.
They've now put the 'breaking' strap back on. Although to be fair, there is a development (Ed Davey is giving a speech).
Victoria Derbyshire has been sent to Coventry.
She's not having much luck with the microphones.

(Would you like some voice with your recording of the wind?) It seems no matter how close to the guest they put the mic it just picks up the background noise.

Some of us are old enough to remember the days to Victoria starting out in Coventry...

I'm surprised there hasn't been more of a feature of the Capital of Culture stuff, speaking of Coventry. For Hull there was a project team assembled that used to produce a monthly round up for Sundays (think Weather Show type slot). Haven't seen anything like that so far.
Martine is doing the Ten tonight. (2210hrs. in fact)

There was such a programme all about it on June 9 on BBC Four, called Curtain Up on Coventry. Don't know if it'll be a monthly programme. It was also shown on BBC One W Mid on the Monday of that week at 7.30pm. Probably still on iPlayer.
