Just checked the schedule and it seems that the BBC News Channel is taking World News America on random disparate days instead of the News at Ten [or having the News at Ten presenter fill in for a few minutes]. Today seems to be the first of that, with next week being Monday and Thursday.
Anyone know if this is a permanent decision or is this just related to MOTD on BBC One or something else? The BBC One schedule makes it appear that this might be just related to MOTD finishing late on those same days. ?

Nothing permanent, just to do with football, happens with clock change differences too
It might have been better to run it for the duration for some consistency.

It’s because of the euros on BBC one that don’t finish until 2210 so they may as well take WNA to keep everything on the news channel to time. They usually take WNA when news at ten is scheduled to start later.
Trundle Cam's been broken for 3 days it seems (or there's work happening in the newsroom). Wonder when it will be back in operation.
Over the last day I've noticed the op-out on the News Channel to BBC World News be a bit messy, like the TOTH for One, Six & Ten appearing before cutting to world, wonder why this is normally slick

Scheduled for next Friday at 20:30, hour later than it's been recent weeks. Guess it was recorded yesterday evening but kept for today like when election coverage took priority a few weeks ago.

That will be because Thanks to the Football, The Six is not til 7:05 next Friday, in fact on Wednesday The Six is not on til 7:30-Let's see if they opt out of the 2nd half of Outside Source for that.

Also seen this happen the other way around, for example on World last night at 22:00, the end of the NC countdown was visible briefly before the intro into WNA.

They've been using a pre recorded shot of the newsroom in place of the trundle cam for the last couple of days now. My thinking is the trundle cam is broken.

I think sharing implies the broadcasters have much of a choice. This government has opted to do pool interviews whenever possible, as the pool interviewer tends towards more generic questions.
