So there are generic templates which could be substituted for something like this (although the most logical solution if there was a continuity issue would just be a text based slide). That said, it's a relatively straight forward process for a duty CA to have the newsreader name fed through and voice over an ident (although this has gone wrong in the past) and likewise for regions to rip the details from the running order and just have the presenter/nominated warm voice voice it up.
In Yorkshire they were obviously on the ball as we had a “with Victoria Derbyshire and Clare Frisby” announcement. It wasn’t the usual voice who does them normally though
Having watched it, there seemed to be a lot of introducing reports with “has this” which didn’t seem very BBC national news to me, but then I don’t usually get chance to watch the One so maybe that’s just the house style?

It really can depend on the team working with the copy. Typically, the aim is to vary introductions and ideally introduce reports in a variety of ways (i.e. via two ways, within reports, and straight cuts). The presenter does have an input into the scripts but these can change (and do) and ‘has this’ is a typical feature that Victoria uses. That said, it’s also a common feature with something like Outside Source so not wholly outside of the norms.

It's possible. Even recently, when Quentin Rayner's voiceovers were still in use, Friday evenings (presented by Nicola Gilroy) were introduced with "This is BBC One in the East Midlands, with the latest BBC News", which had been used on occasion in previous years.

That is brilliant. I would much prefer something visually like this for the next version of the normal countdown, just good shots of various places around the UK. You could do multiple versions of that easily, you incorporate world locations too, and you could do versions focusing on individual regions of the UK, to make it feel more local to people, especially if they can recognise places familiar to them.
