It’s recorded. And yes, all opt headlines sequences are the same duration wherever you are, if each region did what they wanted to it would be a shambles. The heads opt at 1300, 1800 and 2200 are 12”, the halfway opt at 1315 and 1815 is 15”.
That live from the newsroom is actually the camera in the Business Unit. The four screens behind the guest can be switched between a variety of backings (including news as you can see). I don’t know the circumstances but it may have been done from there because it was too close to another live in the studio and there wasn’t time to clean the desk between guests. The ground floor camera in the newsroom is seen more often on air - I haven’t seen the Business Unit used for ages. That’s probably just down to fewer guests coming into the building under COVID rules. That’s being relaxed slowly so these cameras may see increasing use over the coming weeks and months. Regional programmes used these cameras quite a lot to interview London based guests pre-COVID.

Normally it will be Studio A.
Graphics error in the 22:45 Sportsday bulletin. The graphic also kept animating out and back in again too like it was trying to be sorted. The peanlty shoot-out was going on during the bulletin with the ever changing nature of the story probably resulting in the mix-ip of the graphics I'd presume.
