I agree, compare it to the BBC Breakfast promo and it's so gladiatorial.

Maybe I'm in the minority here but I wish they'd firm up who their main presenting team is. I don't like turning on each morning without any idea whether it'll be Richard Madeley, Ben Shephard, Adil Ray, Ed Balls, Richard Bacon, Alistair Campbell, Robert Rinder... next to Susanna that day.
For a breakfast show, you need a strong team of familiar faces on screen that people really connect with and are willing to make a part of their routine day to day. I don't feel like you really provide viewers with this opportunity when offering up a presenter lottery of different line-ups week on week.
Perhaps others enjoy the changeability and think it keeps the programme fresh and interesting, but I can't help wishing they would provide a bit more of a consistent offering, personally.

I agree. The rotation of Guest Presenters works as a temporary measure but it shouldn't be a permanent change. Something more consistent is needed

Totally agree - I want some consistency with GMB. Especially with the recent launch of GB News' new breakfast show. Viewers will and already are move to GB News.

The definite ratings don't but I've seen plenty of people on twitter moving
To go nearly a year with guest hosts is ridiculous - The One Show did the same thing. Would have been better to have hired a permanent replacement and have had to axe them by now than to have not hired a permanent replacement.
Then again it's a bit ridiculous to have different combinations of hosts on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday every week. Ideally your A-team would do at least four days a week.

It would have been better to draft in a full-time temporary replacement from about Easter (similar to how Kate and Dan Lobb held the Daybreak fort for the first 8 months of 2012 until the Aled/Lorraine relaunch that September) than to continue with this endless roster of guest presenters indefinitely - similar to the One Show, which seemingly anyone can turn up to present these days ?

If they are going to continue with Guest Hosts until the summer then the most suitable way to do it would be to give Ben Monday-Wednesday and give the Guest Hosts Thursday and Friday.
One thing I really hate about the Rotation of Guest Hosts is that you don't know who's hosting until the day. I think they need to announce who's hosting the day before. The fact that GMB no longer has a Consistent host for the start of the week makes me want to tune out and try other options
I’m not sure I understand this desperate need for a fixed host, or to know who’s presenting in advance. I’d suspect viewing figures remain flat regardless so I’m not sure why they’d be in a rush to fix a problem that doesn’t really exist outside of this place.
Well if Ben went Mon-Wed with Kate, Ranvir and Charlotte they'd easily have Thu/Fri covered without needing guest hosts every week. If they worked it so Ben did no more days than he currently does, so got a few more weeks off, then that is where the guest hosts could come in - but at least most weeks you'd still know who to expect.
And if Ben's filming schedule absolutely can't be adjusted then given it's been so long with them failing to find a permanent male replacement they might as well just try Susanna and Kate (or Susanna and Ranvir or Susanna and Charlotte) and see if that gets any traction.
