Same! I think Richard is at this point the most likely replacement for Piers.

That's a big bowl of cornflakes.

Of everyone they've tried he is clearly the best option - name recognition, clearly capable and does enough to generate headlines. Whether he wants it is another matter.

Agreed. He seems to have fit into the role well and is more than capable of grabbing the headlines and drumming up a bit of a buzz about the programme. His recent interview with Liam Norton who 'did a Piers' is a good example of this. In terms of his commitment to the show, he certainly has enough commitment to give up weeks of his life to appear on it previously, and a whole month in this latest stint, so it definitely seems as though he could be up for it to me. I suppose only time will tell, but they could do a lot worse!

I also think that, if you look beyond the Partridge, he does ask a fair few very decent questions. It's just that the Partridge-esque bits are the ones which get reported.

Interesting that they seem to have invested in the world's tiniest little coffee tables to sit at each side of the sofa. Putting these alongside the MegaDesk™, it all averages out to make one reasonably normal-sized piece of furniture...

I believe those little coffee tables on the side were there when it was previously used. Not sure but pretty sure it was.

Also, I do think the way they are promoting the 'Million Pound Decision' is a bit OTT.

So, Adil is back tomorrow with Kate. Do we think he could be the replacement for Piers or not?

Agreed on this. I think that he's the obvious pick, definitely in my eyes at least.

For me the only way Adil comes in permanently is if Ben moves up to Mon-Wed and Adil takes Thu/Fri.

I agree. I think he's brilliant. So bad, he's good. Actually, I always thought he'd make a good host for Supermarket Sweep, if they ever brought that back...

Looking on the ticker this morning itv weather doesn’t have any temps on, is that a regular thing?

It froze for a while and now the temps have been updated
