I still don't understand how this ticker design is an improvement over the previous flipper. I don't like how big it is and that is fills the entire width.
Flippers are very limiting in terms of the number of characters.

Strange how they're doing this, especially with Christmas Day being on a Saturday, a day that they never normally air on anyway. Laura mentioned yesterday that she'll be providing weather updates during this show, so maybe they'll just have live news and weather updates (Kate and Laura), with pre-recorded interviews conducted by Susanna and Ben. Would be very surprised if the whole thing was live.

Won't it just be a case of Laura pre-recording forecasts on Christmas Eve? That's what ITV regions do for their short weather forecasts during GMB.
