Agreed, important days for news ahead but the majority of next week's ITV national news bulletins at lunch, early evening and late-night, even away from the bank holidays, have been scheduled in reduced slots of just 10 or 15 minutes.
If there was news of restrictions, would they need half an hour to cover it?

News can never be predicted, of course, but there could be far more to report than further restrictions, especially if hospitals and other services begin to struggle due to staff sickness. The problem with such short slots is that once commercial breaks and promos are accounted for, a 10 minute slot can become barely 5 minutes.

i have nothing against him but he’s so lightweight (even for ITV daytime) he makes Lorraine Kelly seem like Christiane Amanpour

The sponsor was removed from GMB with Lorraine this morning, officially I imagine it shouldn’t have aired yesterday either with it being GMB with Lorraine rather than Lorraine, but it’d be a bit of a grey area if anyone took issue with it

If you're struggling to think of a suitable gift for someone, I always think it's better to give them money so they can buy something they genuinely want with it, rather than just wrapping up any old tat that they probably won't want or use just so you can say you've got them something to open.
Besides, when you give them cash, they can spend whatever amount is given to them on whatever they like. A good debate, but could've done with being aired in a more friendly manner, especially in the run up to Christmas.
Presumably the conclusion to that debate was that you're better off gifting GMB merchandise from the ITV Shop?
