Hmmm I wonder?
Maybe Mon-Weds for May, then TM Summer from June onwards? Would like them to do some GMTV throwback stuff if so, like when he first hosted with Kate back at TLS. Long list of people to guest with him if Susanna is off.

Would prefer him to be announced permanently as co-host, one can hope...!
Perhaps it could be Eamonn is to be a Grandfather?

Hmmm I wonder?
Is he joining GB News? ?

That’s the old desk, I imagine it was produced right around the time they moved in as that’s the sort of thing they’d do.

D'oh, bad wording on my part there! Meant that the video/editing was slick, as is GMB's general presentation as of late, as they often pan smoothly around the mega-desk/credenza during a TOTH or before/after a break.

Reckon you're right there. May have been produced for the TVC move but never used at the time
Sounds like I will have to tune in to This Morning tomorrow and find out what the good news is.

He wasn't just a "promising" TV producer, he took on executive roles at ITV, Channel Four and the BBC in a behind the scenes career that lasted over a decade. But he's said before that he still enjoys presenting, and this seems a pretty decent job - muck about on live telly a couple of mornings a week, without having to learn any scripts and keeping yourself in the public eye, and you're finished by nine o'clock and you've got the rest of the day to yourselves to either look after your other business interests (like his modelling agency and production company) or just doss about if you fancy it. A great life.

Obviously not, as the rule is that whenever anyone even tenuously connected to Good Morning Britain says anything at all about an announcement coming up, it's going to be about them being the new presenter of Good Morning Britain. I don't make the rules!
It’s got to be ITV/This Morning related because the show’s Twitter have quite RTed it with a link to watch live.

Because it’s his production company who make the competition trails for ITV (as revealed by Piers on GMB), so I imagine that he hires himself to present the ITV Breakfast vts.
Interesting and now it makes sense. Odd they have to outsource those though - guessing it's ticking some kind of "independent production" quota.

I guess that might also be a reason we're unlikely to see GMB at the weekend as the pre-recorded Sunday Best style shows are not only cheaper, but fulfilling a quota as well.

Would childrens' shows commissioned from independent production companies help them meet that quota also?

Sadly, yes. I didn't expect him to be Piers' permanent replacement anyway. I think the Two most likely people to replace Piers will be either Alex Beresford or Adil Ray
What are everybody's views on the voiceover that's been on the titles for a few months? I'm generally intrigued, as I don't like it, I much preferred Dominic Green (even the lady from 2015 was better in my view), and I would like to know what everybody thinks after a few months of it.

Wasn't at all keen when I first heard it - it's been improved slightly but the authority just isn't there compared with previous ones.

Don't like it at all, seems like the artist is speaking slower to be able to be understood. On top of that, the change was unnecessary anyway.

Much prefer Dominic Green, it just sounds so blaa compared to Dominic.
