I would guess last week of August as part of promos
I think they'd announce/Tease it to the press a few weeks before
For what it’s worth, and despite not being his biggest fan, I thought Alistair Campbell was brilliant today.

I’d suggest they probably haven’t signed anyone permanent yet. I think there’d have been some sort of leak if so, particularly if it’s someone other than those who have stood in. Still surprised Rob Rinder hasn’t appeared yet, that’s who my money is on for the permanent gig.
What's the bet that GMB go OTT tomorrow morning after the England match this evening?

The word 'understated' usually doesn't feature in the GMB dictionary

I bet BBC Breakfast will as well
Have they played Three Lions over the openers (like in 2018) yet?
Btw am I going mad or was the title ‘ Good Morning Britain ‘ used at some point in the 80s too ?

Between 1 February 1983 and 31 December 1992 of course, as it was the name of TV-am’s main programme.
Was nice to see Sean Fletcher reporting on the Euros the past couple of days
Yet has he even had a day in the hosting chair in the last few months when they've pretty much been letting anyone have a go?

That does seem odd - but there's a chance he may just not want to, he does have a fair amount of other shows/projects.

It's a shame, as he's a good presenter. However, GMB tend to go for "names" who will help generate clickbait headlines. Sean doesn't really do that for them.

Think you're in a minority who thinks that. TVForumers, TVLiveForumers and people outside of these platforms have universally panned his performance in GMB outside of doing the Sports segments.

I think you'll need to provide evidence of that. The real issue isn't that he gets negative reviews - it's that he just doesn't generate comment. But neither does Susanna Reid - most articles about her over the last 7 years have really been about her reaction to Piers.
Sean's decent. I've been saying he's been criminally underused since late 2014 when he was first demoted from being an equal quarter of the presenting line-up to providing two-minute sport segments at 6:35am. He's been used a little more frequently in recent years, but only ever generally as a relief newsreader, and very very seldom as one of the two main presenters. Of course, we don't know what his agreement is with GMB; he may have asked to appear less frequently in order to focus on his other work commitments, but his ability to present effectively was never in question. (For me, at least.)
