We also saw a shot of Richard Bacon and Susannah before the headlines. I don’t know if that was due to the first story or not or if it could be something starting from today; as we do not normally see that.
What time was the first Regional News Update as it was not on when I left around 06:17?
Ranvir was presenting the news from the right hand side which in effect is where Charlotte used to be back in 2014 although Ranvir used the background screens too.
The regional news began as I switched on, just after 6:20.

It’s lovely to wake up to quite a calm programme introduced by Richard Bacon & Susanna Reid. Especially from 7am I feel informed on the headlines, including sport and the first entertainment bulletin I’ve seen outside of the 6am slot for a while.
7am TOTH included the headlines this morning. First time that's happened for a while!

Not sure if it's a new addition but they also included a shot of Reid and Bacon after the ITV logo sting at 7am, a type of headline intro that was dropped quite a few years ago now (TLS era..?)

They haven't done the opening shot in quite a few years so its a new addition.
They appear to have done the headlines sequence at the top of each hour aswell.
