With a lot of the next four months being taken up by filming Tipping Point in Bristol, it's very likely that we'll see less of Ben on Good Morning Britain (who'll be "getting back into the studio to do GMB when [he] can"), which will be interesting as since Piers' departure, Ben's been stepping up to present more often to fill the gap. I expect we'll see some weird and wonderful combinations of presenters over the coming months as a lack of Ben and Easter/summer holidays coincide.
Good to see more of the likes of Richard Gaisford this week, who I think did a great job in the 6am presenter/newsreader role, having only done so a handful of times previously.

I’d definitely like to see more of Richard Gaisford. I thought he was an excellent choice, and fitted the role perfectly. I’m surprised we haven’t seen him in the newsreader role much before.

Lol no. I didn't watch the video, I was going by the post which states he'll be back behind the GMB desk, so wasn't any need really to do another quote.
Ben would have been doing Thursday and Fridays before Piers left so him appearing less than 2 days a week isn't going to make much of a punch.

That's exactly the point I'm making, though. He
was doing Thursday & Friday before Piers left, but now that Morgan has left the programme, they have been utilising Ben more often. Now that Ben is going to be less readily available over the coming months (to whatever extent), and now that they no longer have Piers presenting on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, they may have to fall back on the lesser used members of the team. We've already seen the likes of Richard Gaisford and Des Coleman this week.
Thanks for posting, [mention]Andrew2000[/mention] - it's unexpected, I suppose, as he seems to be getting utilised more and more of late.
Interesting, too - we seem to be in for (at least) a couple of weeks of Kate this month. There are obviously very serious and understandable reasons for her appearing less over the past twelve months, but I really like Kate Garraway, and it'll be great to see her on air again - even if it is just for the Easter fortnight before stepping back again.

Good choice in giving Adil Ray a go for the month.
They've been working around Adil's schedule as well as he's been filming series 2 of Lingo although there isn't as many episodes to film compared to Tipping Point so it's somewhat easier.
I actually like Adil Ray doing GMB, purely because he speaks his mind and doesn't even care about the consequences, and he very cleverly does so without offending anyone; a win-win for ITV's Good Morning Britain.
Quite surprised to see Richard Gaisford present the news first half hour with his very own voiceover introduction too. Well deserved to be in the studio and handled it like a pro! Great choice for newsreader.
In relation to the news Adil will be presenting for the month is good for everyone. Obviously a safe choice and a safe pair of hands with co stars too.
Will be an interesting watch for sure.
I have to say though, things are starting to return to normality. No rants on the royals remaining. Whether you love or hate him, he really didn’t know when to reign things in.
I watch GMB for the news and features, it’s not an opinion piece and they should continue being impartial in their coverage the same as ITV News
Looking forward to seeing Adil on the show, he’s been a good watch when I’ve caught him in the past. (Didn’t release how quickly they were getting on with Series 2 of Lingo too!)
I suppose with Ben out of the picture - apart from for his regular billed appearances - we’ll see some difference faces. Presumably 175 episodes takes longer than just 1 month to film.
I must say I like Richard in that role. Without going too far off the topic of presentation - Richard Gaisford, Pip Thomson, Louisa James and Katie Rickett have all done newsreading duties at one time or another; I guess it was only a matter of time before one of them did 6-6.30.

It takes about 3-4 months to film an entire series of Tipping Point and Tipping Points: Lucky Stars.
Lingo, they've split it into two blocks so they're filming some of it now and the second lot of episodes in June.

Do the guys at Tipping point normally work around Ben's normal GMB days (Thursday and Friday). If so then I can probably see Ben returning to his old Thursday + Friday slot once the Easter Holidays are over
