Getting a bit of an X Factor look from some of it. Looks better than the first version though.
Here's the actual logo without the banner.

Nice enough logo, but for me the real exciting bit I am looking to see is their schedules, and where and when they are placing certain programmes.
I wonder when in 2021 they will launch, as there was speculation that it was Spring 2021, which now seems to be a no no.

Looks really nice! Gets the message across. Nice modern typeface choice in (I assume from the 'G') Montserrat.
GB News has certainly come a long way since we saw this...
... alongside an announcement that
Dan Wootton of all people would be joining the channel!
Is there an official GB News website launched yet?
It can't be just me that thinks the G looks like a C?
Not clear whether this is for a presenter role but Emma Barr is joining GB News. She used to be a Conservative adviser.

I think the colour palette is a little to similar to Sky News current branding. Blue, white and red may be the colours of the flag but they’re also taken by another major channel..!
Nice sneak peak that has been released today.

much of an improvement from the original. Certainly looks launch ready now. :!:
I think it does actually look pretty nice. One of the first things that came to mind was it gave of an X factor feeling as someone else mentioned.
Re the Freeview channel number - it is at the end of the news category. It is hardly as if there is a huge demand to be added to that section, or that there are a lack of numbers.
New logo is much better, but it reads "GB N" to me, plus I'd have actually used Gotham than Montserrat, not a fan of the 'G'.
Here's what I'd change:

Definitely some Simon Cowell influence somewhere
