I refer you to the rules of this forum:

Re: Viewers on Sky & Freesat
Have GB News made a decision on which transponder to broadcast their news channel?
There is one HD slot available on satellite where Sony Crime was broadcast before with an SID of 53395.
Would that slot become available for GB News or is that SID still used by Sony?
There is a place holder on freeview for the channel now

Yes, this has been discussed on Page 17.
Just got the email with the video above. I assume they will not have the concrete wall outside the windows as part of the studio! If Sky News added some blue into their logo they would not look too dissimilar..... But I like the end logo.
For those interested in what the email said

Seems a long way off being ready based on my experiences of studio / gallery builds.
Looks like they are in an underground carpark almost!
I wonder if this is what the lower thirds will be?

Let’s assume that’s what they’re going with.
It’s like they can’t decide whether they want to be minimalist or not with that lower third.
Although it does suggest to me there might be a two line flipper.
I imagine there will be further tweaks to it before the actual launch. But I think the on air branding is looking as though it might be quite good.
Right, I've (yet again) cleaned up this thread and removed several inappropriate posts. This is a final warning.
You are reminded that political discussion is FORBIDDEN unless it's relating to television presentation.
I will start issuing bans if people continue to break this rule, I am not prepared to put up with political discussion here. If you really want to discuss politics, go to Metropol.
Interesting. Not sure on the translucent full length blue bar but the white name strap is nice enough. Big bold text in a white box (resized to fit the size of the text inside it) reminds me of Sky News' pre-2015-refresh graphics. Seems they're not going down the BBC News route of keeping everything 4:3 safe either, from the positioning of the elements, so I'd expect 16:9 safe graphics. Of course, we have no confirmation that the final on-screen graphics will look anything like this, but from the logo and from this video above, it definitely looks like Montserrat will be (one of) their go-to typeface(s). (Good news for all you mockers - it's available to (legitimately) download for free in multiple weights on Google Fonts!) Be interesting to see the full look once it launches.

Indeed ! If we think they are going on air in 8 weeks from now, then I'd have expected the system to have been commissioned, and dry runs started, and that area full of desks and staff !
She says the builders have only been going for a week ? In that case clean site access would be months away
A lot of smoke and mirrors I suspect (or that clip was recorded in October !)
