But tbh tie-in idents are getting stale now. Some live-action idents themed around the Lens and its people themes for Christmas would be nice.

I agree. Once the show the idents are promoting has aired they (the idents) become a bit redundant. I would prefer non specific programme idents. They will possibly feature a football theme within them too since the World Cup Final isn't until 18th December.
