After a day and seeing a mix, I really like the set and feel they work really well...
I like how the content can move in front of the BBC One logo sections, though the only aspect of the whole set I will say I don't like is when an ident begins with this effect... or at least a major amount... such as the Farmland (Festival) ident, with the BBC logo for the most part obscured by the tree and the One covered by the tent and not uncovered until a few seconds in, it ruins the transitional element from the preceding trailer.

Yes, Red is their color, but I didn't expect to see the color Red in the idents. BBC Two's color is viridian, and that wasn't reflected in the idents since 2018. BBC Four has purple, and their ident set isn't really purple. And we like both idents.
I stand by my opinion from earlier; I see urban areas, kids at expensive after-school activities, and glamping. I'm not seeing anything relating to people who farm, who fish, who work in a factory, who don't live in large urban areas.
Beyond farmland/festival, have any of these been filmed outside London and Hertfordshire?

I think the Christmas ones work best as stand alone animations. There's so much going on in Aardman animations that it looks too busy to also have a snapshot of other scenes.

Just spotted the Sky - Daytime ident on BBC One East before Politics East. East Midlands used the evening version.
South West made the big mistake again, using Oneness instead of the Lens.

Yes, the lens animation also obscures the business with the Christmas tree.
Do we know if the Christmas idents were originally intended to use the lens in this way, before the new idents were delayed?

London doesn't even have that excuse since most, if not all, the new idents were filmed in the region!

Or, more likely, as the new idents launched over a weekend, regions were not quite ready to make the change in time. Either that or it's just incompetence on the BBC's part to not ensure that all presentation now consists of only the new idents.
The Ramblers version of the Farm ident just aired.
I think we have all the variations now.
I like them, a massive improvement on what came before, although not convinced they are as strong as the original edits of the 2006 circles where the visual and audio motifs held the identity together (although that era of presentation was let down by everything else inbetween which looked bland and powerpointy)
This time, the whole package is a lot more coherent, with the trailers and idents coming together almost seamlessly.
My only criticism is the idents themselves feel a little flat and lacking in personality. They don't need to be shouty but I feel they lack a certain umph, but this is the first set and the concept itself is really strong.
I was looking through the previous BBC One thread, and found a post by Thistle which says the original ident sets available before the nations 'pulled the plug' were Bench, Hall, Market, Farm and Sky. The only new set (I think!) is Warehouse, then? Does that imply that the designers thought warehouse was a good one to wait for, to ensure the set is not to London-centric? In my opinion, it is one of the most London-looking idents, maybe after Market, so I find it a weird choice.
