Game of Talents axed, quite surprised about this one.

It was only filling a void left by BGT, and with that back and The Masked Dancer returning not really a slot for it even if it had rated better.

Like many gameshows in the past year, a flawed format and very boring to watch.

I quite enjoyed it. Was nice to see a variety of talent being showcased.
It would surely work quite well in Autumn, especially breaking up the gameshow marathons we had in 2021. But we don’t know what’s planned this year, The Voice could end up there & of course the football helps with the last 6 weeks of the year

The trouble was it was 'OK' but nothing special and I Can See Your Voice over on the other side was the winner with the viewers
One Vernon Kay vehicle I do miss (other than 1000 Heartbeats of course!) is Beat The Star, which was loosely based on the german show Schlag den Raab
Although maybe I'm just biased from the brilliant 'Iwan Thomas' moment from the last episode of series 1

As others have said, with The Masked Dancer, The Voice, and then the World Cup (which in turn means an earlier I'm a Celeb) there was probably no space for it. Perhaps it came down to a toss up between it and The Masked Dancer, and the latter won out.
Speaking of talent shows, ITV have also extended the Britain’s Got Talent contract by a year, so it now is commissioned through to 2025:

Presumably they’ve just tagged a year onto the deal to make up for the lost series last year.

Any idea if The Masked Dancer will be stripped again?

Yeh just nowhere in the schedule for Game of Talents with Takeaway, BGT, Epic Gameshow, Romeo & Duet, Starstruck, Masked Dancer, The Voice all to fit in.

Trailers now airing confirming Starstruck for Saturdays from February.

I don't think lack of space in the schedules is why Game of Talents isn't coming back. It's very much down it not being very good at all and barely rating.

I quite enjoyed Game of Talents. It was something different and it was entertaining. Im so bored of BGT so it not being on was a nice change.
If Game of Talents had performed well they would have found space somewhere. They still need something for the autumn unless they are going to show The Voice.

Well they've got to show The Voice at some point so it looks like either summer or autumn.
I'm guessing Starstruck will take the post-Masked Singer slot once Limitless Win finishes, though personally I think it would suit 6pm more than 8.30pm. And then once they're done probably BGT and Epic Win, although that could get dumped at any time - it's been a bit of a shelf sitter ever since it began. Catchphrase seems to be a fixture at 6pm now so think that'll be there most the year.
I'd have thought if Limitless Win is deemed a success (and so far it is) that ITV wouldn't want to wait a full year to get another series out so I'd expect another short run later in the year, either off the back of BGT (alongside Masked Dancer), or more likely in September.
As for Game of Talents - I liked the idea of it but it just didn't seem as fun to watch as perhaps it should be. Preferred it to I Can See You Voice though, but in some ways it felt those two shows should have been on the other channel.

Starstruck I think will get its launch immediately after The Masked Singer Final on 12th Feb, so it should be on a decent lead in.
Then it will follow Saturday Night Takeaway every week which I presume will start the weekend after The Masked Singer finishes?
