Either way, the fact they’re filming next week, be interesting to see if they get another judge in? I’d be tempted to go for another personality, over a singer, to add a bit more variety. I’m not convinced how much Mabel would’ve added anyway

I don't think it's actually that unusual for a new show to not finalise the talent until very close to filming actually - it's just with the Cowell shows it always finds it's way to the press. What the show is missing at the moment now Cowell is gone really is someone who would have transatlantic appeal and could get a place on the panel in the US version.

They have these chairs which come out of the stage and spin around when contestants place in them - and then for the bulk of the game it's just contestants getting up out of them and moving to the next. I think visually they needed a bit of TV trickery there - people moving seats all the time in gameshows is very annoying. It used to irritate me on In It To Win It.
I wonder how long ago this "new" series of Real Deal was filmed, given they appear to be still using paper £20 notes.

But no mention for The Voice. Maybe Starstruck is taking The Voice slot in January with The Voice going later in the year.

Yes - that's been destined for Christmas Day ever since it came out. They could try The Larkins I guess but that would be better either the Sunday before or on Boxing Day IMO.

With The Voice Kids airing over Christmas this year rather in the summer as in previous years, it probably makes sense to move The Voice to later in the year to give a bit of a gap between series.Whether it'll be late Spring or maybe consider it for the X Factor slot next Autumn?
I doubt The Voice can be saved by moving it but at least Starstruck will have a chance now.

Yes, will be interesting to see how these rate next week. I am going to guess not very well, because not a lot on ITV2 outside of Love Island seems to. But it’s nice to see them trying something a little bit different.
They’ve had a sitcom and now a documentary in 2021, which is diversifying the channels content somewhat. Almost feels a bit BBC Three .
