Very unfortunate to see Sky has geoblocked their YouTube live stream in Canada.
Edit: I've seen people say they're also geoblocked in Continental Europe and the UAE as well. It's a shame because I've enjoyed their stream throughout the pandemic and now the events in Ukraine.

It is practically down everywhere... mostly. Truly unbelievable.
This is where you can check whether where you're living still has access to the stream:

Weird, shouldn't the one being blocked is the United States, since Sky News is available on Pluto TV and Peacock?

I am wondering if this could lead to the possibility of the launch of a German language version of Sky News (like website and news channel itself)

It would be interesting if all of Sky Group's subsidiaries have their respective news channels, but I wonder if there's an appetite in Germany to have another 24/7 news channel?

It is weird because in Canada there is only one pay TV company that carries Sky News according to Sky itself. And this company serves around 1.8 million customers (39 million people in Canada) in a part that is mainly French-speaking (only around 20% of Canadians speak French).
Several new political correspondents joining Sky News, according to Politico’s London Playbook

They nicked Liz Bates from Channel 4 News? Damn
New video wall graphics and set for Millbank and Beth Rigby's new show. Same music package.
And the strap:

Decent moves for Liz Bates and Amanda Akass from South East Today joining Sky News. Akass had a stint covering the political brief on SET and covered Politics South East for Julia George.
Liz Bates will be a loss to Channel 4 News, she's done a decent job as political correspondent over there.
