Also nice to see what the refreshed Studio 6 screens look like, I was only thinking the other day that they can't use the glass effect anymore and therefore what would go on the screens, now we can see it's just a flatter version of the previous design.

Wow. :o Must has been an easy fee to make. Nice for some. Not to mention the orchestra they hired to play the same theme but just in a different key. Pop in on Zoom on a quick lunch break. Bish Bash Bosh! Your're done! :lol: "New" Theme music. I love how they try to differentiate the News at Ten, like it's something completely different. I need to get into the music composing business. Seems to be a dawdle. Flipping Heck. 8-)

I actually think it’s rather good! And composing music for a television customer is, I’d imagine, not quite as easy or as crudely produced as you make it out to have been.

Well, considering the composer, orchestrator, orchestra and mixer will have also been working hard on the main ident, the beds, the into-break music, weather-fill music... It's a lot more work than you make it out to be?

Indeed it's probably just as tricky to effectively rework a established package as it is to come up with something brand new.

It's not there at the moment, although the breaking news ticker is on.

The Live online sky news.com stream has the red block whereas the TV stream with the clock does not have the red block.

Yep. A quick rewind to the TOTH proves this:

Having a look back, it was changed during All Out Politics, the TOTH had the other version, then this new one with the red separator was added when they came back from the break around 11:22am.

Why would they have replaced the screens in Studio 6? They look the same to me, just with different images.

... the previous design used on the screens was influenced by the old look with the glass/glossy effects, I was thinking that they probably wouldn't be keeping this with the new graphics, which as seen in the Instagram video, they've essentially flattened the design removing all the glossy effects in favour of the new gradients.

[mention]PATV Scunthorpe[/mention] I see what you mean, I originally thought you meant they had actually replaced the physical screens.

It's a shame, as I actually liked the design they previously had on them.
