We’d have got 5 pages out of that if it had been on GB News.
Because most people hate racism, so it's worth a kicking.

These sorts of comments re GBN are hard to justify now it’s a living, breathing channel and not adhering to the pre-existing view you already had of it.

Apologies for taking this off track - but everything I’ve seen of it on air has confirmed my views.
In future, can Sky ask Carole Malone to come into the studio to do her Press Preview shift?!
Every week she's on, the internet link with her goes down. And now tonight, they've lost her 3 times already! It's distracting and spoils the format of having a discussion between 2 reviewers.
Presumably Carole lives in London, as she's already been in the studios of Jeremy Vine and GB News this week, doing this same news review job. And pre-Covid she used to be in the Sky glass box.
I wish Sky would have at least a few of their London-based reviewers back in the studio now. It's now becoming so tedious and awkward at times, watching people Zooming in from home on these kind of programmes.
Even the banter and discussion between Pierce and Maguire isn't as good DTL. They're in the ITV GMB studio several times a week, so surely would be able to make it to the Sky glass box like they used to.

I'm afraid your presumption about where Carole was last night is incorrect. Indeed, she has broadcast from that non-London location virtually every time she's appeared on the programme during the pandemic.
Sky's current company-wide Covid protocols are what they are (even leaving aside the ergonomics of the glass box meaning it can only presently hold one extra person besides the presenter), so if a guest is more comfortable
at any given moment being somewhere else, then with all due respect, it's nobody's business but theirs - hence the lack of locator tags on anyone 99% of the time unless there's a specific editorial reason to do so (i.e. a guest in one of the devolved nations if there's a massive, overarching story there).
Does SJM really need a name branded show? It's exactly the same format as it was with Sarah Hewson and others who have covered the slot over the last year.
"The ____ Show" always seems lazy branding, especially with a name. Indeed just calling it "Sarah-Jane Mee" would look better.
Wasn’t it called that before her maternity leave?

Yes.
The Sarah Jane Mee Show branding has gone today during the 2pm TOH. Not sure if a mistake or if the slots going unbranded. Programme guide just says “Sky News with Sarah Jane Mee”. Oh title card appeared on the big screen at 14:08! They should really get this decided one way or the other, update the EPG…
I generally hate presenter names, particularly on new programmes, “Sarah Jane Mee show”, “Ian King Live” and “Kay Burley”. Afternoon Live (as the afternoon slot with Kay was called a decade ago) worked pretty well, it was very much Kay’s format but didn’t have that awkward ‘what do I call the programme when the main host is away’ problem. All Out Politics is again another programme that is very Adam’s format, but others can cover easily without needing to drop branding etc.

Likely a mistake - the template show files will have been updated so they load the right branding, but someone may have selected the generic template instead.
Does a Sky News poll showing that Andy Burnham is more popular than Keir Starmer warrant being breaking news?
