Really? I don't normally watch This Morning so can't really comment but I've never seen a barcode used on GMB.

BeIN Sports have used them for about 18 months too. The link to a webpage to let you subscribe to their channels, I guess its for people watching at someone elses house, at a cafe or even an illegal stream!

He seems to be a bit of a Piers fan. He’s worked a couple of project outside of GMB with Piers. Perhaps a career move or likes the unpredictable nature of Mr Morgan. Has even started at Sky or still at GMB?

Gordon is still at GMB. Wasn't supposed to start at Sky until later this year I gather.

That’s a real shame, as head of studio output I assume he would have been in charge of how the channel looked onscreen, and despite the journalism being one of the best I think the on screen presentation can be a tad boring. I had high hopes he would have improved that.

Sky News using studio 6 this weekend, Breakfast and evenings coming from the glass box but so far today and yesterday overnights and 10am-8pm were in studio 6.
10am yesterday the backdrop seemingly wasn’t playing ball as this looks like the climate show branding to me… They did it get it changed to the usual stripes pretty soon into the hour.

The only problem with studio 6 is that the end shot for the titles doesn’t work, although for 5-8 shift yesterday they started using this which looked decent.

I understand this is because there are works taking place underneath the GB in preparation for the “Sky Magical” event. It’s presumably also why the move out of the headlines from outside the box is a bit different in the evenings - to hide the works below.

It would be nice though if they made the glass box a bit "magical" and not just the area underneath it. Since the relaunch it has gained blandness again as the different color setting for the afternoon shows had been ditched. They were on a good way and turned into the wrong direction again as so often.

This seems intriguing. Will be interesting to see what it will look like on screen from a pres perspective.
