BBC World News had the strangest transition. A stunned Geeta Guru-Murthy announced we were joining BBC UK for an "important announcement" at about 8 past. Cuts to BBC UK in the middle of a voice over images of Prince Philip talking about his life, but with no banner or actual mention he had actually passed away until the presenter repeated the statement from the Palace.

Channel 4 now showing Find It, Fix It, Flog It with a standard ident into it, trailing regularly-scheduled programming later today.

ITV’s Grand National coverage this afternoon will now air on ITV 4.

The main channel is currently scheduled to air rolling news coverage all afternoon until the 6:30pm Evening News

They are. I imagine they’ll continue all the way through until breakfast tomorrow morning considering the schedule has been cleared until then?

At 1pm they went to 5news via an ident with no announcement. The strap that has been on since the start of the obit programme stayed on screen for a minute or two.

All Global stations (except Capital, Capital XTRA and LBC) have "Special Announcement" on the Sky Q EPG guide.

No anthem or flag on Sky News.

They are using purple and gold boxes on-air now.
