The decision to drop BBC Four for the evening and hide the women’s international on a stream seems particularly odd given 5 Live is still broadcasting a football match

I was rather surprised the Evening News didn't state them, although perhaps they didn't want to break the general mood of the programme. Will be interested if the duty will be passed to News at Ten, and if it'll be 45-60 minutes of the Duke or if they'll do the 'other news'.

Sky News had some “other” news in the climate show. I imagine we’re likely to see at least half an hour of it at some point this evening - perhaps 20:30 or 21:30.
Wonder if we’ll get a Press Preview tonight. I doubt it.
Inspector.... Can anyone identify whether there's any induced delay? (it only has to be fractions of a second) in any of the channel feeds in order to disrupt the Stat Mux issue, I'd imagine it is being done, to at least introduce some shifts in what's being fed to the muxing gear. This seems particularly pointless - using broadcast capacity to broadcast a caption pointing people to a website showing the thing you should’ve been broadcasting there.

BBC Ones schedule has updated for tomorrow morning now. There is a News Special on between 10:00 and 14:00.
This situation with BBC Four does seem somewhat silly, they should have just shown the football there as planned.

Presumably, given the technicalities mentioned above, as to why BBC4 can't show any programming tonight, why can't they have the five live radio commentary broadcasting on BBC4 instead?
I know it has been mentioned but bbc four are airing a loop.

Because 5 Live are commentating on a different match.
I'm guessing both BBC One and ITV are back to somewhat normal scheduling from 2pm tomorrow, not sure about BBC Two although it's probably a bit earlier as Football Focus is airing at noon.
