One thing about today is that I guess it has shown the versatility of the ITV News studio. There have been recent discussions on here about virtual vs. real sets but today has shown how flexible virtual is at very short notice. They have been able to easily implement different presentation and branding at the touch of a button.
BBC News Special until 4am on Radio 1.
Drama is now showing the UKTV slide with no message to go to BBC One.
EDIT: Back to regular programmes now, looks like they're showing that instead of adverts.
Did anybody capture Dave's slide about the news?

No, they'll have been reviewed many many times over the decades. Diana and 9/11 were very different events, the Queen Mum's death is the best comparison and the stations did all return fairly quickly for that

Not as bad as I first thought then if they have some more time to the story early afternoon to go with the hour earlier. I guess they will have channel 4 news as well.

ITV2 and ITVBE still airing the please turn to ITV loops during every ad.
It was announced on Capital that the Capital Weekender has been suspended in light of today's news.
I wonder which set ITV's live special will come from tonight. I suspect GMB rather than This Morning. Or perhaps something a bit more bespoke along the lines of the Martin Lewis Coronavirus Special last year.
