According to Virgin TV Go, the channel launches at 11am, but for the first hour before, it’s the promo loop. Sky is using the Sky Max EPG for Sky One on Sky Go, even though the stream on Sky Go is Sky Showcase. What a shocking turn of events.

On my Sky Go, the stream labelled “Sky One HD” is Sky Max
Not holding my breath for much more than that to be honest - i’m thinking they’re just going the route of Netflix start-up intro style idents which, if i’m correct, while it’s understandable, is quite sad.
Why are people expecting a big "launch" at the likes of 10am?
Anyway, as it's been already said, Sky Showcase will be into preview until 11am, mostly because Sky make changes to the EPG (and sometimes messes around) unstably at around these times
It looks as though they've changed their mind about which channel wil be going in 106. Even the Home Page graphic shows Sky Max occupying that slot.

That's because it was never going to be a "launch event" or something, just looped promos in the first place. That "programme" didn't even have EPG info.
Moreover, why they would do something special for a channel whose task is showcasing the best of Sky?
And most people don't watch TV on a weekday at 10:40am, again

I think it's a sign they don't care anymore about Sky+ HD users (rightly or wrongly)

to me I like the ident fed up with live action idents all the time but some live action ident are good but not many
The EPG on Sky has now been updated. SkyShowcaseHD on 106 and Sky Max HD on 113.
Out of curiosity I started recording the 10am Sky Max programme when it was broadcasting on the Sky One name and it has carried over to Sky Max
