Are you referring to Duncan Golestani? I quite like his presentational style. A straight forward look down the barrel of the camera lens reading the news, that’s all I personally require,
No huffing and puffing, no ‘sssippp’ noise at the beginning of every story. No raised eyebrows, no squinting or narrowing of the eyes when disapproving of the people featured in the report. No bobbing and weaving side to side, no turning of the head from side to side with eyes firmly fixed on the camera lens. No forward lunge to the camera to emphasise any particular point. No completely unnecessary emphasis of every third word. No snide asides. The occasional smile if reading a story with a pleasant outcome.
Just reading the news to me, that’s all I require. I find Lucrezia Millarini has a similar style which
I find similarly efficient and neutral.
No doubt in today’s ‘personality’ led presentation neither will go very far. Just my opinion of course.

I agree, although it may have been better with either a graphic or reporter saying what the story is - if I hadn't seen what was in the news today already, I'd have been left thoroughly confused.
The first headline had decent information, but the last two were bizarre as to what the story was.
Would be easy to think the soundbite from the second referred to the footage from the third.
Wonder how long it'll be until the graphic is amended to read ITV News at Ten.
Not sure if I like the new promo for 'News at Ten'. I always preferred to see the presenter and the screen behind them showing whats coming-up.

So that IAC avoids Bake Off. It'll be interesting to see if they can fill those extra fifteen minutes.
It won't be too much of an issue considering the actual run time of the Evening News is often only about 20 minutes compared to 30 minutes for News at Ten.

Maybe the tv guide's made a mistake and that Emmerdale will be on at the usual time of 7pm, I mean unless there's a major news story, the programme cannot run for more than half an hour.
